Gallery - 1984 Model 510 and 1985 Model 660 - Jennings Kilgore

Jennings writes: "A little background on the bike. The 510 I acquired from a friend who had stripped it down to just the frame and fork because it was too big for him. I paid two cases of beer for it. The groupo is Shimano Sante' that I stripped off of a Schwinn circuit that I got at a thrift store. The only thing I had to add was Ultegra long reach brakes because the bike was originally set up for 27 inch wheels."

Halloween 660 - Jennings writes: "The 660 I acquired off Ebay as a frame and fork for $40. It had been hand painted with a paint brush. I had it sandblasted and powdercoated gold pearl orange and then had custom decals made for it. The groupo is a 9- speed Shimano 105 kit and the wheels are mavic cosmic elites. The ride is incredible."
